Yes, I want to support My MLTnews!Dear Editor:
Thank you! It is an honor to be able to continue serving on the Mountlake Terrace City Council. I very much appreciate all the support I have received and the confidence our voters have entrusted in me to keep Mountlake Terrace moving forward.
These results confirm what I’ve been hearing as I meet with our neighbors throughout the city. They tell me they are excited about the direction of the city and thrilled to see new businesses and economic development occurring throughout the city, particularly in our Town Center. Clearly, our citizens want our City to keep moving forward, creating jobs and economic development opportunities, adopting responsible, performance-based budgets and delivering quality city services.
For those who did not vote for me, I hope to earn your trust in the years to come. I understand there are those who do not feel their voice is being heard. While we may not always agree on the approach, I will listen to your concerns and work to find a balance amongst varying interests and develop a consensus on important issues facing our community to ensure Mountlake Terrace is a great place to live, work, shop and play.
I invite you to share your insight into Mountlake Terrace city priorities, programs and activities … and how I might be able to best serve the City on the Council.
I encourage you to follow me on Facebook at: www.facebook.com/MLTCouncilmemberWahl.

Bryan Wahl

I was impressed that Mr. Wahl took the time to visit my house and talk to me about his vision of Mountlake Terrace and to receive input from me. None of the other candidates knocked on my door. He quickly became my daughter’s favorite candidate due to this outreach.
Congratulations, Bryan Wahl, on your win this election. May you indeed remember that, while elected through the majority, you serve the entirety of Terrace citizens. Listening & balancing vision with the real concerns of your constituents is of utmost importance!
