Mountlake Terrace was invaded by dancing zombies, monsters and mummies Saturday night at the sixth annual Costume Carnival, sponsored by the City of Mountlake Terrace Dance Program and the Kontagious Dance Company.
A mix of families with small children, teens and adults enjoyed food, games, crafts and dance performances at the Terrace Park School gym.
A number of dance and martial arts classes from the city’s Parks and Recreation Department performed at the event. The Kontagious Dance Company also showed off their moves in a couple performances.
Proceeds from the event benefited the Mountlake Terrace Dance Company Scholarship Fund and the Kontagious Arts Foundation.
