Crews began grinding away the asphalt on 244th Street Southwest between 56th Avenue West and Gateway Place on Monday in preparation to resurface the street later this week. The project is being taken on following a gas line replacement under the arterial recently completed by Puget Sound Energy.

Work on 244th Street Southwest is scheduled between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. through Friday, Oct. 12, dependent upon good weather. Drivers should expect lane modification and delays through the work zone area.
