Windy conditions cause power outages and fallen tree limbs

Windy conditions across the Puget Sound Tuesday afternoon caused power outages to approximately 12,000 homes and businesses King an Snohomish Counties. Shoreline, Lake Forest Park and Edmonds as well as Georgetown, Greenwood and West Seattle all reported power outages. Winds up to 60 MPH were reported in the area.

As far as I know, Mountlake Terrace different suffer any outages though one MLTnews reader reported seeing a large tree branch fall on some wires.

It seems as if the most significant damage in Mountlake Terrace was in my own backyard, literally. I had a dead tree, which I’d been meaning to take down, fall down and nearly hit my house. See the photos below.
