Here’s what’s open and operating, and what isn’t, on Thanskgiving Day:
City of Mountlake Terrace Facilities — city offices closed Thursday and Friday, Nov. 27 and 28. The Recreation Pavilion will be open Nov. 28 on a modified schedule.
Schools — Edmonds Public Schools are closed through Friday, Nov. 28.
Mountlake Terrace Library — closed Thursday, Nov. 27.
Mountlake Terrace Post Office — closed Thursday; no mail delivery.
Community Transit Bus Service — will not operate on Thursday, Nov. 27; local buses will run on Friday, Nov. 28.
Sound Transit Express Bus Service — will not operate on Thursday, Nov. 27 with the exception of the 512, which serves the Mountlake Terrace Park and Ride. Sound Transit buses will run on a regular schedule Nov. 28.
Sounder Train Service – the train has been shut down this week since a mudslide near Everett Monday; no service on Thanksgiving. Regular service is set to resume on Friday, Nov. 28 if there are no more blocking events.
Mountlake Terrace banks and credit unions — all closed on Thursday and open on Friday.
If you are in need of a free Thanksgiving meal, Edmonds’ Westgate Chapel is offering its annual free Thanksgiving dinner with three seatings: 11 a.m., 1:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. The church is located at 22901 Edmonds Way.
