What’s open and closed in MLT this week

There are plenty of disruptions and changes in store for local services and schools due to the Christmas Day holiday this week. Here is a listing of what’s open and operating, and what isn’t, this week:

Mountlake Terrace grocery stores Roger's Market, Albertsons and QFC will be closed on Dec. 25.

Mountlake Terrace City Facilities — all city offices and facilities closed on Dec. 25; the Recreation Pavilion closes at 3:30 p.m. on Dec. 24; you can view the Pavilion’s holiday week schedule here.

Brier City Facilities — closed on Dec. 25

Public and Private Schools — all closed through Jan. 5

Mountlake Terrace Library — closed on Dec. 25; will close at 3 p.m. on Dec. 24

Brier Library — closed on Dec. 25; will close at 3 p.m. on Dec. 24

Mountlake Terrace Post Office — closed; no mail delivery on Dec. 25 (except select Express delivery)

Community Transit Bus Service — will not operate on Dec. 25; local buses will run on Dec. 24, but commuter service to downtown Seattle will be limited to routes 402, 413 and 421 (only route 413 makes a stop at the Mountlake Terrace Freeway Station)

Sound Transit Bus Service — will operate on a Sunday schedule on Dec. 25; no changes are scheduled for Dec. 24

Metro Bus Service (including Route 347 servicing Mountlake Terrace) — will operate on a Sunday schedule on Dec. 25; no changes for Route 347 on Dec. 24

Mountlake Terrace banks and credit unions — all closed on Dec. 25

Mountlake Terrace grocery stores — Roger’s Market, Albertson’s and QFC all closed on Dec. 25; Roger’s Market and Albertsons will close at 9 p.m on Dec. 24; QFC will close at 6 p.m. on Dec. 24.
