The Thanksgiving holiday brings major changes to the schedules of local services, city offices, schools, and transportation agencies. Here is what’s open and operating, and what isn’t, this week.
Mountlake Terrace City Facilities — city offices closed Thursday and Friday, Nov. 28 and 29; the Recreation Pavilion closed on Thursday, operating on a special holiday schedule Wednesday, Nov. 27 — Dec. 1 (You can view the schedule here.
Brier City Facilities — closed on Thursday, Nov. 28
Public and Private Schools — Edmonds Public Schools closed Wednesday, Nov. 27 — Friday, Nov. 29; private schools closed Thursday and Friday, Nov. 28 and 29
Mountlake Terrace Library — closed Thursday, Nov. 28
Brier Library — closed Thursday, Nov. 28
Mountlake Terrace Post Office — closed; no mail delivery
Community Transit Bus Service — will not operate on Thursday, Nov. 28; local buses will run on Friday, Nov. 29, but commuter service to downtown Seattle will be limited to routes 402, 413 and 421 (only route 413 makes a stop at the Mountlake Terrace Freeway Station)
Sound Transit Bus Service — will operate on a Sunday schedule on Thursday, Nov. 28
Metro Bus Service (including route 347 servicing Mountlake Terrace) — will operate on a Sunday schedule on Thursday, Nov. 28
Mountlake Terrace banks and credit unions — all closed on Thursday, Nov. 28, and open on Friday, Nov. 29
