There are plenty of closures and changes throughout Mountlake Terrace and Brier for Thanksgiving Day; here is the list of what is open or operating, and what isn’t on Thursday:

Public and Private schools – all closed (schools reopen on Monday, Nov. 26)

Mountlake Terrace City Facilities – all closed; the Recreation Pavilion will resume operations on Friday under a special schedule.

Brier City Facilities – all closed

Mountlake Terrace Library – closed; will resume regular hours on Friday

Brier Library – closed (as it is on all Thursdays); will resume regular hours on Friday

Mountlake Terrace Post Office – closed; no mail delivery; will resume regular operations on Friday

Community Transit Bus Service – no service; will operate on regular schedule Friday and Saturday, Nov. 23-24

Sound Transit Bus Service – will operate on Thanksgiving Day on a Sunday schedule; regular service resumes on Friday

Metro Bus Service – Route 347 (servicing Mountlake Terrace) will operate on Thanksgiving Day on a Sunday schedule; regular service resumes on Friday

Mountlake Terrace banks and credit unions – all closed

Mountlake Terrace grocery stores – Rogers Market (23120-56th Avenue West) and Albertsons (4301-212th Street SW) will close at 4:00 p.m.; QFC (22803-44th Avenue West) will close at 6 p.m.
