Waste Management will come back to Mountlake Terrace Monday to collect trash and yard waste that was missed during last Saturday’s special curbside collection.
In response to the city’s inquiries, Waste Management reported that 150 accounts were missed due to a truck breakdown, City Clerk and Community Relations Director Virginia Olsen said. “They will be back first thing on Monday to collect at those locations,” she added.
Saturday’s collection was negotiated between Mountlake Terrace city officials and Waste Management Wednesday as the tentative agreement was being formulated between the company and striking recycling and yard waste drivers.
