Be sure to tune in at halftime of Friday night’s Mountlake Terrace-Shorecrest high school football game via the Sound Live Sports Network. Hawks’ broadcaster and MTHS alumnus Steve Willits will lose his hair, all for a good cause — the Edmonds Public Schools Foundation.

Willits and fellow SLSN broadcaster Keith Nealey, who covers Edmonds-Woodway High School games, made a friendly wager prior to the Terrace-vs.-Edmonds-Woodway football match-up earlier this season — all part of the promotion of the public schools foundation’s 5K fundraising run. The loser agreed to have his head shaved at a future date, and that date is Friday night!

Gail Sarvis of Edmonds’ Salon 512 — herself a graduate of Edmonds High School (prior to the Edmonds-Woodway merger) has volunteered to do the honors on behalf of her winning alma mater.
