On Sunday, January 30, 2011 at 8:30 AM, City of Mountlake Terrace police officers assisted the City of Lynnwood Police Department with containment on a residential burglary that occurred near 44th and 188th in the City of Lynnwood.
They were slowly reaching 212th St SW in Mountlake Terrace when an apartment resident in the 4100 block of 212th St SW in our community answered the knock at her front door only to be knocked back by an unwanted intruder that matched the suspect description in the Lynnwood case. Her boyfriend was able to wrestle the intruder down and force him out of the apartment unit.
The K9 track located the suspect in the City of Brier at the 21300 block of 39th Pl SW. City of Lynnwood Police had probable cause for burglary and several trespass complaints to include the incident in our City and took the 19 year old Bothell man into custody on multiple felony charges.
