Update: Five people displaced following electrical fire in attic of Edmonds home

Fire-District-1-logoFive people were displaced as a result of an electrical fire in the attic of an Edmonds home Tuesday night, according to Snohomish County Fire District 1 spokeswoman Leslie Hynes.

As reported in this story, there were seven people in the house, located in the 23000 block of 84th Avenue West, when the fire broke out and all escaped safely. Only five of those people lived in the home and all were displaced: three adults (a mom, dad and aunt) and two young children.

The damage estimate for the fire, which was reported at 8:08 p.m., is $25,000, Hynes said.
