Two spaghetti fundraisers set for next week in MLT

SpaghettiThe public is invited to two different spaghetti fundraisers next week, one to benefit the Mountlake Terrace High School music department and one for those directly affected by the March 22 Oso mudslide.

On Monday, April 14, The Old Spaghetti Factory will donate to the MTHS Music Boosters 15 percent of proceeds from customers presenting a “Let’s Dine Out” flyer to wait staff. The special fundraiser takes place at the Lynnwood restaurant, 2509-196th St. S.W., from 5-9 p.m. You can see and print the required flyer here.

Then on Wednesday, April 16, the Mountlake Terrace Community Senior Center will host a spaghetti dinner fundraiser at their facility, 23000 Lakeview Dr., from 5-8 p.m. All income collected from the suggested $10 donation at the door and the proceeds from an auction of gift cards, restaurant dinners and hotel stays will go to victims of the Oso mudslide, facilitated by Union Bank and the Cascade Valley Hospital Foundation; all food and labor for the event has been donated. The senior group asks that those planning on the fundraiser attending RSVP by phone at 425-672-2407 or by e-mail at mltexec@gmail.com.
