Two shows for high school musical fans to enjoy in Terrace

Fans of musical theater can get their fill in Mountlake Terrace over the next few days as the Drama Department at Mountlake Terrace High School continues their run of “Sympathy Jones” and the Drama Department of Cedar Park Christian — Mountlake Terrace (CPC-MLT) presents the first of two performances of “Little Women,” on Saturday, Jan. 18; the school’s second performance is scheduled for Thursday, Jan. 23.

The CPC-MLT musical drama production of “Little Women” is based upon the classic 1869 novel by Louisa May Alcott and portrays the four women of the March family as their lives unfold during the Civil War.

The curtain rises at CPC-MLT at 7 p.m. for both performances; tickets are $5 general admission, $4 for seniors and students. Cedar Park Christian — Mountlake Terrace is located at 23607-54th Ave. W.

The MTHS production of “Sympathy Jones,” a musical comedy spy thriller, continues its run with performances on Friday, Jan. 17, and Saturday, Jan. 18; show time is 7 p.m. Tickets are $10; seniors, children 13 and younger and students with valid ASB can purchase tickets for $8. Mountlake Terrace High School is located at 21801-44th Ave. W.
