Two people were taken to Swedish Edmonds with non-life-threatening injuries Tuesday morning following a three-car crash in the 21700 block of Highway 99.
According to Edmonds police spokesman Sgt. Shane Hawley, the collision occurred just after 8 a.m. during slow-moving rush-hour traffic. Two lanes of southbound Highwat 99 traffic had stopped to allow for a vehicle to make a left turn, but a car in the third lane did not see the other traffic stopping, he said.
Hawley said that an Edmonds woman “in her 50s” briefly lost conciousness following the crash. She and another patient were transported to Swedish Edmonds.
Traffic was temporarily limited to one lane while police conducted their investigation, police said.
