Seattle Tae Kwon Do (one of our sponsors) has two free events coming up.
The first is a CPR/1st aid training class on March the 13th. This event had limited spots available and has already filled up due to a huge response. If you’d like Seattle Tae Kwon Do to offer more free classes CPR classes, give them a call and let them know.
The second event is a Child Abduction Prevention Workshop. It will take place on Saturday, March 20th from 12:30pm to 1:30pm at Seattle Tae Kwon Do, located in the Cedar Plaza at 228th/44th. You do not need to be a member of Seattle Tae Kwon Do to attend. The workshop will cover issues such as play dates, internet awareness, stranger danger and how to safeguard your child. The workshop is interactive and all parents should bring their children with them. Space is limited and so you must call 425-775-0299 to reserve your space.
The free First Aid/CPR classes (two were offered) are both completely filled up. I was amazed at how much demand the community had for such classes. So many people are concerned about the possiblities of an earthquake in our area and are trying to get training. I really with the city had the resources to provide this service free of charge to the public.
