Two Edmonds School District students qualify for state geography bee

Two local students recently participated in a state geography competition.

Terrace Park student Adam Esayas and Brier Terrace Middle student Jacob Thompson qualified for and competed in the National Geographic GeoBee State Competition.

The National Geographic GeoBee is an annual geography contest sponsored by the National Geographic Society. The bee, held every year since 1989, is open to students in the fourth through eighth grades in participating schools from the U.S.
