With a recent change in lot ownership, a project to build 27 townhomes at the far east end of the Axis Condominiums gated community in Mountlake Terrace is expected to begin construction soon.
Plats Plus of Marysville recently purchased the condominium property in the 21300 block of 48th Avenue West that already holds a number of multi-unit condominium buildings. No changes to the current buildings are expected.
The plan to add additional buildings to the Axis Condominium complex has been in the works since 2012. The date that construction would begin on the new townhomes was not announced.
