Approximately 50,000 people will descend on Mountlake Terrace this weekend for the annual Tour de Terrace Festival. For those of you who want to get started on the fun early, the carnival will start around 1 pm. Things really start to kick off this afternoon with the street fair starting at 4 pm, the beer garden opening at 5pm and the crowd favorite parade beginning at 6:45pm.
Additionally, the Farmer’s Market will be going on between 3 and 7pm in the lot just south of Espresso break on 56th Ave W.
Parking will be prohibited on 56th Ave W along the parade route from 7am until 10pm so be sure to move your car if you parked there last night.
Mark Hopkins will be out all weekend taking photos and have web versions available on his web site as well as prints available to order. So if you want a nice photo of your family be sure to jump in front of his camera (or just ask him nicely.)
