The Seattle Skating Club is hosting its annual Holiday Ice Skating event featuring the “Santa Visits Broadway” on Saturday, Dec. 14, at the OlympicView Arena in Mountlake Terrace. Tickets can be purchased during two sessions for 2 p.m. and 6 p.m.
“Santa Visits Broadway” will feature music selected from Broadway musicals like Rent, Chess, Abba, Matilda and Cabaret. Theater on Ice will be performing A Christmas Carol. Skaters from basic skill level through seniors will be skating. Featured skaters include U.S. figure skating triple and double gold medalists, sectional and national competitors.
“This is an exciting and fun showcase for our skaters and spectators as the club’s skaters perform Broadway musicals where we can all cheer for the beginning skaters who have never competed before as well as the seasoned veterans who are landing double and triple jumps with grace,” said Sanju Chettiar, Seattle Skating Club Board Member.
Pre-sale tickets are $10 per adult and $8 per senior/youth. Tickets may be purchased at here. OlympicView Arena is located at 22202 70th Ave. W., Mountlake Terrace.
