Mountlake Terrace ran into a red hot Lynnwood squad — winners of six of their last seven matches — and fell to the Royals 3-0 (25-15, 25-9, 26-24) in a Wesco 3A volleyball matchup Thursday night at Mountlake Terrace High School.
The loss was the 12th of the season for the winless Hawks; Lynnwood pushed its overall record to 10-3, 9-2 in Wesco 3A play.
On the soccer pitch, Mountlake Terrace faced another streaking team — the Arlington Eagles — and were blanked by the Eagles 3-0 at Arlington High School. The victory was the seventh in a row for the Eagles.
The Hawks close out their 2015 prep soccer season on Wednesday, Oct. 28, on the road at Marysville-Getchell High School in a match against the Chargers.
