Three local students singing in Northwest Boychoir holiday performances

Three local high schoolers will be performing throughout the area as part of the Northwest Boychoir’s annual presentation of “A Festival of Lessons & Carols” beginning Friday, Dec. 7.

Brier resident Bryce Pingul, a junior at Mountlake Terrace High School, and Mountlake Terrace resident HyunSoo Seo, a junior at Lakeside School in Seattle, are graduates of the Northwest Boychoir and are members of the organization’s contemporary young adult ensemble, Vocalpoint! Seattle. Brier resident Leah Aegeter, a senior at Lakeside School, is also a member of Vocalpoint! Seattle.

The Northwest Boychoir is in its 34th year of presenting “A Festival of Lessons & Carols,” a classical performance of nine holiday readings, each followed by a traditional carol performed by the choir, and another carol sung by the choir and audience. This year there are nine performances scheduled Dec. 7-23. Tickets can be purchased for any of the performances, except the Dec. 23 performance at Benaroya Hall, at 206-524-3234 or www.nwchoirs.org.
