I’ve changed this up a bit. Not if you want to comment, just click the Facebook button near the comment form.

For the next few days I’ll be testing out some new Facebook integration with MLTnews.com. I’ve decided to get rid of the old commenting system, Disqus, and try something new. You are still able to use the standard comment form where you give your name and email but now you are also able to easily sign in with Facebook as well. In the right sidebar you’ll see a section called “Community”. Just click the big “Connect” button and you’ll be able to comment with your Facebook account an even easily write posts on MLTnews. If you already have a contributor account just click the “Login” link and then you can link your contributor account with your Facebook account and just login via Facebook from now on.

When you comment on a story you will have the option to post it to your Facebook stream. You can also click the “invite your friends” link to invite your friends to be a part of the MLTnews.com community.

Like I said, I’m just testing this feature so let me know what you think, even if you don’t like it. I’m hoping it will make the site easier to use and possibly help readers connect via Facebook as well.

There are still a few bugs to work out here, let me know if you find any.
