Terrace students nominated for 5th Avenue High Theatre School Musical Awards

Students from Mountlake Terrace received three nominations for The 5th Avenue Theatre High School Musical Theatre Awards last week for their production of “Pump Boys and Dinettes” in March.

The entire cast was nominated for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble Cast. Senior Karin Redden was nominated for Outstanding Performance by an Actress in a Supporting Role. Sophomore Calvin Martin was nominated for Outstanding Performance by an Actor in a Supporting Role.

This year judges viewed and evaluated a total of 93 high school musical productions from throughout Washington state.

The winners will be announced Monday, June 4, at the 5th Avenue Theatre in Seattle.
