Softball:
April 26: Terrace visited Everett who are ranked number 6 in the state in the 3A rankings. Rene Bos pitched a great game but unfortunately in the bottom of the 6th inning an error was made at first base that would have ended the inning. Terrace was up 4-1 at the time and Bos got the ground ball she needed to SS but the out was not recorded, Everett proceeded with 3 hits to drive in 3 more runs taking the lead and final score of 5-4. Maddy Kristjanson was 2-3 with a double and 2 RBI’s, Mindy James was 2-4.
Thursday, April 28, the Hawks went to Shorecrest, due to 4 errors by the Hawks the game went into extra innings tied 3-3. Both Rene Bos and Maddy Kristjanson hit home runs early on, Bos going 3-6 on the day, Kristjanson 4-5 with 2 RBI. During the 3rd international tie breaker in the 12th inning, the Hawks separated themselves by scoring 4 runs for an 11-8 final.
