The Hawks hosted Everett Thursday afternoon and the Gulls brought the big bats.
Everett scored 6 runs in the first inning including a grand slam. Terrace got back into the game scoring 2 in the bottom half and 4 in the second to make it a 7-6 Everett lead. However in the top of the 4th the Gulls scored another 7 runs on a solo and another grand slam home run. Everett hit 4 home runs on the day with 20 hits. Rene Bos got the loss. The Hawks were led on offense by seniors Mindy James, 4-5, 2 doubles, and Chelsea Crews 2-3, 2RBI and a home run.
Terrace plays each day next week excluding Wednesday. Monday @ Kamiak, Tuesday hosting Shorecrest.
