Parents can take their young children on a small group “hike” through a park in Mountlake Terrace next week.
Mountlake Terrace resident Jessica Dobervich was inspired to create the group by her two-year-old daughter. Dobervich said in a post on Facebook that her daughter loves to explore trails, but is usually too slow to accompany her on adult-led hikes.
The group will allow parents with young kids to meet up and for the kids to explore local trails together. The meet-up on Sunday, April 24 begins at 10 a.m. at Terrace Creek Park. It will be a “very informal” and could be rescheduled if it is raining.
