Mountlake Terrace High School is hosting the sixth annual Terrace Idol, a singing competition between Edmonds-Woodway, Meadowdale, Mountlake Terrace, Lynnwood and Shorecrest high schools.
The competition starts with around 20 performers (below). On the first night, around half of the performers are eliminated leaving ten to compete in round 2. On the second night, five more performers are eliminated, leaving five performers for the 3rd and final round. Those five will perform for the final time and the judges will pick 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners.
The first round was this past Friday and you can catch the next two rounds on February 10 at 8pm and February 16 at 7:30pm at the Mountlake Terrace High School theatre. The cost is $7 or $5 if you have a student ASB card.
On Thursday, February 10, there will be a special performance by guest judge Sabzi from the Blue Scholars.
