MTHS students Everett Amundson (left) and Amanda Petrowski find some souvenirs to bring home from their week at the Educational Theatre Association’s Thespian Festival in Lincoln, Nebraska. The students are part of a nine-member Terrace contingent attending the conference on the campus of the University of Nebraska. “I am so proud of our MTHS drama students and their representation of our school, district and state,” said faculty advisor Jeannie Brzovic on Friday. The students are attending workshops, meeting theatre professionals, watching various performances, performing on stage themselves, and auditioning before college recruiters. Terrace’s Matt Sythandone has already been asked to submit for a second audition/interview at 11 colleges from across the U.S. The group will be returning to Mountlake Terrace on Sunday, June 29.
