Terrace boys top Marysville-Pilchuck in 76-28 win

MTHS basketball logoThe Mountlake Terrace boys basketball team showed no signs of slowing down after a hard-fought two-point victory over Fairfax at the Kings Showcase on Monday. The Hawks ran away from the over-matched Marysville-Pilchuck Tomahawks 76-28 at Mountlake Terrace High School Tuesday night.

Four Hawks scored in double figures, with Loren Lacasse leading the way with 20 points. Marquis Armstead, Blake Fernandez and Michael Lotz all added 13 points each.

Micheal Painter led the Tomahawks with 10 points. Marysville-Pilchuck has yet to win a game this season, dropping to 0-10 in Wesco league action, 0-17 overall.

Terrrace improved to 9-1 in league play, 15-2 overall, and remains tied for first place in the Wesco 3A South conference with the Shorewood T-Birds, 51-21 winners over Meadowdale on Tuesday night. The Hawks and the T-Birds will face each other on Friday, Jan. 25, 7:15 p.m. at Shorewood High School.
