The Mountlake Terrace High School boys tennis team slipped past the Oak Harbor Wildcats 4-3 on Friday to cap off an opening week that saw the squad go 2-1 to begin the 2013 season.
The Hawks were able to win Friday despite the long travel to Whidbey Island to beat a Wildcats team that had won its first match of the year earlier in the week.
Terrace gets back into action on Monday, Sept. 16, when they travel to Shoreview Park for a 3:30 p.m. match-up with the undefeated Shorewood T-Birds (3-0).
