Terrace Boys Soccer Hope of First Win Vanishes 4-1

With both teams coming into the game without a win in this young season, Kamiak answered the bell swinging.  From the get go, the Knights displayed dominance in both offense and defense and drew the first blood at 16’ mark by mean of Zach Faller’s shot just inside Mountlake Terrace penalty box (Kyle Watts assist.)  The Hawks countered with couple corner kicks, but Kamiak defense and GK Felyx Tsoi kept Terrace at bay.  At 21’ mark, Zach Faller put Kamiak up 2-0 with a shot just outside goal box (Hawkinson assist.)Coming off half time, Mountlake Terrace went on the offensive and was rewarded with Mesfen Gebremeskel (unassisted) goal at 50’ mark.  However, Kamiak came right back and answered with Bryton Reim (unassisted) goal from the right of penalty box at 60’ mark.  The Knights held a sizable advantage in time of possession added a fourth goal as Spencer Kienholz raced down the left side and beat a MLT defender and GK in penalty time.  Felyx Tsoi earned a win in goal for Kamiak (1-0-2) and with several saves, Ben Winter was in goal for Mountlake Terrance (0-3-0.)
