Two sessions of a teen Hip Hop summer camp are coming to the Mountlake Terrace Recreation Pavilion.

In one week, dancers, ages 13-16, can discover some of the secrets to great Hip Hop dancing. Learn the techniques and tools you need to pick up choreography and remember it and then put your own style into it. The class is age appropriate and recreational, while keeping a high standard of instruction.

Bring your “studio only dance shoes” to change into and get ready to groove.

The camp is scheduled for July 21-25 (28040) and Aug. 11-15 (28041). Fees are $75 for residents and $80 for non-residents. To register go here.

The instructor is Alex Farias, who found her passion to dance with the Roosevelt Dance Team. Farias was inspired to begin choreographing her own dances for the team and last year she took on the responsibility to lead the group.
