Mountlake Terrace High School crowned its Macho Volleyball champions on Wednesday night in preparation for a district-wide tournament on Nov. 12.
“Team America,” made up of seniors Danny Roth, Alec Somers, Jesse Prothero, Carlitos Bravo and Gabe Brady; juniors Mikey Jensen and Tanner Munnis; and sophomore Adam Lorraine won the Terrace tourney by going undefeated in four matches. The team was coached by Mountlake Terrace volleyball squad seniors Nikki Bouche and Alisha Clingan.
The top two Macho Volleyball teams from each of the Edmonds School District high schools will compete in an eight-team tournament on Nov. 12 to determine the District Champion. The tourney, to be held at Mountlake Terrace High School, begins at 7 p.m.
