The Mountlake Terrace Library has two events for children and teens this week.

For kids, age 5-11, check out Project Recycle at 2 p.m., Tuesday, Aug. 5. Create fabulous fashions from recycled materials and duct tape. Strut your style on the runway. Have fun with a team and “make it work!”

For teens, a Summer Reading Party is set for 2 p.m., Wednesday, Aug. 6.

Celebrate summer with your friends at the library. The Library will provide the refreshments. You bring your creative skills to decorate miniature cupcakes and create candy sushi. Also, discover library resources to keep your creative sparks growing throughout the year.
