A project to replace the existing storm drain pipe on 216th Street SW between 52nd and 54th Avenues West and on 53rd Place West to the north of 216th is underway.
This project includes installing new catch basins and replacing short sections of curb and gutter. For the next couple of months, drivers should expect occasional detours on 52nd Avenue West from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday and on local streets in the project area from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday.
