The City recently installed new stop signs at the intersection of 54th Ave W and 232nd St SW. Neighbors say this intersection has been notorious over the years with several accidents each year, including one involving pregnant woman in April. You can see in the photo that the fence is still damaged from the previous accident. The stop signs replace the yield signs for those traveling north/south on 54th Ave W.

I’m so happy that both my husband and I can drive through this intersection without the fear of being hit!nnAfter the accident I was rushed to Steven’s Hospital and they monitored the baby until the scheduled Cesarean the next morning. Our baby boy was born a healthy 9 pounds 3 ounces and 23″ long. We thank God that he was alright. My husband and I are now receiving chiropractic care at Back To Action in Mountlake Terrace for the minor injuries. I highly recommend them! n
I am the mother of “the pregnant woman” (accident at 54th ave w and 232nd st sw in April)rnI am thankful that my daughter, son-in-law, grandaughter and unborn grandson survived the accident. My car was totalled at the same intersection about 10 years ago. My knee went through the dashboard and received stitches. The Lord protects us through the worst that we may give Him our best.
