If you love animals and leisurely strolls in the park, the place to be this summer is PAWSwalk.

Now in its 24th year, PAWS’ biggest community event isn’t just a great day out for animal fans of all ages. By taking part in PAWSwalk, you will help make a difference to the lives of thousands of cat, dogs and wild animals in need at PAWS.

PAWS has made raising life-saving funds for orphaned, sick and injured animals so easy. Simply register and then the built-in e-mail system to rally your friends, family and co-workers asking them for their support. And did you know you could double your fundraising efforts overnight with a matching gift from your employer?

On Aug. 29, King County’s Marymoor Park will come alive with the sound of 1,200 humans and more than 900 dogs enjoying all that PAWSwalk has to offer.

Alongside the 5k walk there’ll be music to enjoy, a beer and mimosa garden to refresh you, animal-friendly products to browse, dog agility to entertain you, contests to take part in, an interactive Kids’ Zone, fantastic food trucks, and more.
