Sound Transit bus route 512 to be impacted by Seattle PrideFest

Seattle PrideFest logoFor the second weekend in a row, a key bus route connecting Snohomish County – including the Mountlake Terrace Transit Station – and downtown Seattle will be affected by a major event.

Sound Transit Express 512 will have four of its northbound stops along Fourth Avenue in Seattle shutdown on Sunday, June 29, due to the Seattle PrideFest. Stops at Washington Street, Cherry Street, Seneca Street and Pike Street will not be available from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sound Transit officials are advising riders to use bus stops on Third Avenue at James Street, Madison Street, Union Street and Pine Street to catch northbound ST Express 512 buses.

Sound Transit Express 512 southbound service into Seattle will not be affected.

Sound Transit routes 522, 545 and 554 connecting Seattle with communities east of Lake Washington will also see some service interruptions on Sunday.

Last weekend it was Community Transit Route 512 that saw service changes on Saturday, June 20, due to the running of the Seattle Rock ‘N Roll Marathon.
