The long awaited day is upon us fellow MLT pizza lovers! The official word is out that Sorelli Pizza will re-open with its updated design, enhanced menu and new owners on Monday, November 2.
While Monday may seem an odd opening day, I’m sure it gives the new restaurant owners and staff a chance to settle in and prepare for the more busy weekend schedule. However, with the anticipation many feel for the return of this loved restaurant, they may be in for a pretty busy first day!
The new menus are in and boast a variety of new items like baked ravioli bites, penne with white and red sauces, cheese sticks, soup, and more! The liquor license is in as well (liquor license is pending, should have it soon), so not only will you be able to enjoy your fresh pasta with a cold beer or a glass of wine, you could also have a cocktail!
A week after opening will be football Sunday, and you can enjoy a game while munching on a pizza pie while viewing your favorite team on one of Sorelli’s new 50″ plasma HD TVs through the NFL sports packages. Hopefully our own Seahawks do better and give Sorelli’s a great first football Sunday!
There is still much anticipation about the more subtle changes, and those will just have to be seen. It’s inevitable that some menu selections, prices and options had to be changed to ensure success for the new owners and longevity of the restaurant itself. Hopefully Kelly, Devin and Kimberly can breathe new life into this local Mountlake Terrace favorite, giving it a new life and style that is their own yet keeping the long-time Sorelli fans happy.
Welcome back Sorelli!

I just think it's great that some people in the community pounced on the opportunity to take over this place. I was there at least once a week, sometimes twice, for the past two years. I don't know how the previous owners could've come to the point of Sheriff's Dept. notices on the door, but it's obvious there was a local, friendly, successful business there. They made some of the best pizza in the state.

It really is great! And they have done a really nice job in cleaning it up and making it more friendly to be there! Not only that, but the pies are better than ever! They’ve been busy this week, for obvious reasons, but hopefully our community will enjoy the pastas and pies enough to sustain Sorelli and keep it part of the community for months and years to come.

I had a combo pizza there a few days ago and it was so bad that we asked for a refund. (They said no … “the pizza is fine”) The server was unusually rude, even for a pizza joint. I will not be going back.
The guy making the pizza’s looks like a creepy ex-con, I hope he was wearing gloves. I’ll stick to Romios, best pizza for the money.
Romios? I feel like I should mimic Jim Mora (Colts Coach) and say… “Romios? You wanna talk about ROMIOS? Are you kidding me? ROMIOS? I just hope we don’t get salmonella eating there!”
