Not many sophomores would verbally commit to one of their first collegiate offers or commit in their sophomore year for that, but that is exactly was Mountlake Terrace sophomore Drew Serres did.
According to a story by TK Johnson in the MTHS Hawkeye, Serres last month verbally committed to play baseball for the Beavers at Oregon State University, following a visit to the school.
You can read the complete story on Serres posted on the Hawkeye website here.
In other recruiting news, Terrace senior Maddy Kristjanson will be signing her Letter of Intent this Wednesday to attend Seattle University. A three-sport athlete, Kristjanson will play softball for the Redhawks next year.
