Snohomish County Pie Company is celebrating “Pi Day” Monday as well as the one year anniversary of its Mountlake Terrace location.
Between its two locations, 50 pies were pre-ordered for March 14, known as Pi Day because the date can be written as 3/14. Snohomish County Pie Company made more than 100 pies total for the day. Microsoft also ordered about 250 mini pies from Snohomish Pie Company to celebrate Pi Day.
All day long, customers who make any purchase can be entered into a drawing to win a free pie every month for a year. Slices of pie cost $3.14 instead of the regular $4.25. There are also trivia questions on the Snohomish County Pie Company Facebook page, where winners can get a whole pie for free.
Snohomish County Pie Company’s Mountlake Terrace location is usually closed on Monday, but opened on March 14 from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m.
