Snohomish County PUD customers can save some money while preparing their homes for summer heat through an $800 rebate program for ductless heat pumps.
According to the PUD, ductless heat pumps efficiently heat and cool residences and can be easily installed. It works for a fraction of the cost of baseboard and wall heaters and do not require invasive duct work.
Ductless heat pumps require only a three-inch opening in the wall or ceiling, then indoor and outdoor units can be mounted and electrical connections can be made.
