Snohomish County League of Women Voters Magazine on the Air on KSER Radio Monday

Tune in to KSER Radio Monday, Nov. 10 at 6 p.m. for the League of Women Voters of Snohomish County’s monthly Magazine on the Air. This month features a discussion by Ted Hejvik and Sharon Harris on the prison system in Snohomish County.

Hejvick is a retired teacher who has done years of research on prisons in the United States; he has written an essay on the privatization of prisons, a growing trend in recent years. Harris is a social worker who formerly worked for 15 years in the Monroe Corrections Complex system in Twin Rivers.

The league locally produces monthly programs of interest to the residents of Snohomish County and the north Puget Sound on the second Monday of each month. KSER radio is at 90.7 FM and you can also listen online.
