Snohomish County Fire District 1 fire calls, week of Oct. 10-16

Fire District 1Snohomish County Fire District 1 responded to 339 calls the week of Oct. 10-16: 282 emergency medical aid calls, 20 motor vehicle collisions, 18 fires, 5 service calls, one gas leak, one technical rescue and 12 automatic fire alarms.
October 10
HOUSE FIRE: At 6:20 p.m., firefighters responded to a house fire in the 22800 block of 41st Place W in Mountlake Terrace. Two adults and 2 young children exited the home safely. Investigators determined the fire was started by a faulty or damaged hose on a propane barbecue. Damage to the home was estimated at $260,000.
October 11
COLLISION: At 7:52 a.m., a two-car collision was reported at 164th Street SW and 6th Avenue W north of Lynnwood. Firefighters transported two patients to Swedish/Edmonds Hospital.
October 14
COLLISION: At 8:08 a.m., a three-car collision was reported in the 21700 block of Highway 99 in Edmonds. Firefighters transported one patient to Harborview Medical Center.
COLLISION: At 11:11 a.m., a two-car collision was reported at 164th Street SW and Highway 99 north of Lynnwood. The occupants included a woman in labor who was en route to the hospital at the time of the collision. She was transported by firefighters to Providence Regional Medical Center Everett.
October 15
COLLISION: At 6:49 a.m., a two-car collision was reported at 220th Street SW and 58th Avenue W in Mountlake Terrace. Firefighters transported one patient with minor injuries to Swedish/Edmonds Hospital.
COLLISION: At 7:23 p.m., a collision involving a car and a motorcycle was reported at 159th Street SW and 48th Avenue W north of Lynnwood. Firefighters transported the injured cyclist to Swedish/Edmonds Hospital.
COLLISION: At 10:31 p.m., a car and a semi-truck collided on southbound I-5 south of 220th Street SW in Mountlake Terrace. Firefighters transported one patient to Swedish/Edmonds Hospital.
