Fire District 1 logoSnohomish County Fire District 1 responded to 418 calls May 28-June 3: 327 emergency medical aid calls, 31 motor vehicle collisions, 29 fires, 13 service calls, 1 natural gas leak and 17 automatic fire alarms.

May 28

COLLISION: At 5:42 a.m., a two-car collision was reported on southbound I-5 north of 220th Street SW in Mountlake Terrace. Firefighters transported two patients to Swedish/Edmonds Hospital.

May 29

COLLISION: At 1:46 a.m., a car crashed into a tree in the 7600 block of 212th Street SW in Edmonds. The driver was seriously injured and taken by firefighters to Harborview Medical Center.

COLLISION:  At 10:13 a.m., a car drove into a house in the 1000 block of Bell Street in Edmonds. No one was injured.

May 30

COLLISION: At 2:29 a.m., a car struck a pedestrian in the 13300 block of 53rdAvenue SE east of Everett. The injured pedestrian was transported by firefighters to Providence Regional Medical Center Everett.

KITCHEN FIRE:  At 4:05 p.m., firefighters extinguished a small oven fire at a home in the 4500 block of 152nd Place SW north of Lynnwood. No one was injured.  The gas range will need to be replaced.

COLLISION:  At 5:44 p.m., a two-car collision occurred on southbound I-405 south of I-5 east of Lynnwood.  Firefighters transported one patient with minor injuries to Evergreen Hospital.

BRUSH FIRE: At 11:34 p.m., firefighters extinguished a brush fire in the 100 block 128th Street SE south of Everett. No one was injured.

BRUSH FIRE: At 11:40 p.m., firefighters extinguished a 20-foot by 20-foot brush fire in the 12800 block of 58th Drive SE east of Everett. No injuries were reported.

May 31

CAR FIRE:  At 8:12 p.m., firefighters extinguished a car fire in the 9600 block of 220th Street SW in Edmonds.

June 2

COLLISION: At 8:14 a.m., a pedestrian was hit by a car at 164th Street SW and Larch Way east of Lynnwood.  Firefighters transported one patient to Providence Regional Medical Center Everett.

June 3

CAR FIRE: At 3:05 a.m., firefighters extinguished a vehicle fire in the 1200 block of 113th Street SW south of Everett.

COLLISION: At 7:10 a.m., a two-car collision was reported in the 23300 block of Cedar Way in Mountlake Terrace. Firefighters transported two patients to Swedish/Edmonds Hospital.

HOUSE FIRE: At 12:14 p.m., firefighters responded to a house fire in the 17000 block of 76th Avenue W in Edmonds. The residents extinguished the fire and it was confined to the living room couch and rug. Firefighters evaluated one person for injuries, but he did not require further medical treatment.

COLLISION: At 3:56 p.m., a collision was reported in the 12800 block of Highway 99 south of Everett. Firefighters transported one patient to Swedish/Mill Creek Emergency Room.
