Snohomish County Fire District 1 responded to 455 calls Aug. 6-12: 343 emergency medical aid calls, 25 motor vehicle collisions, 37 fires, 17 service calls, 3 natural gas leaks, 2 technical rescues and 28 automatic fire alarms.
Aug. 6
COLLISION: At 4:30 p.m., three cars were involved in a collision at 128th Street SW and I-5 south of Everett. Firefighters transported one patient to Providence Regional Medical Center Everett.
Aug. 9
CAR FIRE: At 2:59 a.m., a car fire was reported in the 1320 block of 126th Street SE south of Everett. Flames spread to nearby bushes. Firefighters extinguished the fire before it reached a nearby building. No one was injured.
COLLISION: At 7:56 p.m., a car struck a pole at 181st Place SW and Larch Way east of Lynnwood. Firefighters transported the driver to Providence Regional Medical Center Everett.
Aug. 11
COLLISION: At 1:15 a.m., a pickup truck and a motorcycle collided in the 11800 block of Highway 99 south of Everett. Firefighters transported the injured cyclist to Swedish/Mill Creek Emergency Room.
COLLISION: At 7:40 a.m., a three-car collision occurred on southbound I- 5 south of 164th Street SW. Firefighters transported two patients to Swedish/Edmonds Hospital.
COLLISION: At 11:59 a.m., a three-car collision was reported at N. Damson Road and Filbert Road east of Lynnwood. Firefighters transported one patient to Swedish/Edmonds Hospital and another patient to Evergreen Hospital.
Aug. 12
HOUSE FIRE: At 10:56 a.m., firefighters responded to a fire in a vacant house in the 13600 block of 26th Place W north of Lynnwood. The fire spread to a nearby mobile home. No one was injured. The house and the mobile home were destroyed. The fire marshal is investigating the cause.
