Snohomish County Fire District 1 responded to 381 calls the week of Aug. 28-Sept. 3: 304 emergency medical aid calls, 24 motor vehicle collisions, 21 fires, 14 service calls, 6 gas leaks, 1 hazardous materials call and 11 automatic fire alarms.
Aug. 28
COLLISION: At 5:21 a.m., firefighters transported one patient to Swedish/Edmonds Hospital after responding to a collision involving a bus and a semi-truck on I-5 southbound of 128th Street SW south of Everett.
Aug. 29
BRUSH FIRE: At 6:51 a.m., firefighters extinguished a brush fire at a homeless camp in the block of 16900 Ash Way north of Lynnwood.
COLLISION: At 1:02 p.m., a two-car collision was reported at 164th Street SW and Larch Way east of Lynnwood. Firefighters transported one patient to Providence Regional Medical Center Everett.
COLLISION: At 8 p.m., a three-car collision was reported at 128th Street SW and 8th Avenue W south of Everett. Firefighters transported one patient to Providence Regional Medical Center Everett.
Aug. 30
COLLISION: At 2:43 p.m., a two-car, high-speed collision was reported at 230th Street SW and Highway 99 in Edmonds. Firefighters transported one patient to Swedish/Edmonds Hospital.
Sept. 2
BEDROOM FIRE: At 3:29 p.m., firefighters responded to a fire in a two-story house in the 14600 block of 57th Place W north of Lynnwood. Residents safely evacuated. The fire was contained to one bedroom. No one was injured.
COLLISION: At 5:46 p.m., a car and a motorcycle collided at Ash Way and E Gibson Road south of Everett. Firefighters transported one patient to Swedish/Edmonds Hospital.
Sept. 3
COLLISION: At 9:37 p.m., firefighters responded to a two-car collision on southbound I-5 north of 220thStreet SW in Mountlake Terrace. Four patients were transported by ambulance to local hospitals.
