This week, August 17-23, is Snohomish County Beer Week.
Snohomish County Beer Week is the brainchild of George Shiley of Fred’s Rivertown Alehouse in Snohomish and Matt Younts of Click Distributing. The purpose of the event is to showcase Snohomish County Breweries and Snohomish County establishments that pour local beers. We want people to know that they don’t need to drive to Seattle to enjoy quality craft beer.
Each of the participating breweries, Big E Brewing, Diamond Knot Brewing, Scuttlebutt Brewing, and Lazy Boy Brewing will be showcasing a special beer for the event. Big E will have a German-style Marzen, Diamond Knot a Scottish-style ale and Scuttlebutt a Black Pilsner.
