Sno-Isle Libraries video series aimed at preparing children to read

Sno-Isle Libraries logoSno-Isle Libraries is offering a video series to help parents and caregivers prepare their young children to learn to read.

The “Adventures in Pre-Reading” series of five videos features one of the Ready Readers practices in each video: talking, singing, reading, writing and playing. Young children under the age of five need to master these five important skills before they’re ready to learn to read.

The series, produced by Sno-Isle Libraries, is available on the library system’s Ready Readers Web page or YouTube channel. You can obtain more information, or view the videos, here.

  1. Great job Sno-Isle! These videos are well done and send strong, important messages that align with the early learning work being done throughout our communities.
    Thank you!
